Potatoes are another one of those nutritious foods that can be a meal in themselves topped with broccoli and a sprinkling of cheese, or used in a stew to make a meal stretch to feed a large family. Potatoes contain lots of fiber, potassium, magnesium, and vitamins C and B-6.
Grown by California farmers and sourced through the California Association of Food Banks' Farm to Family program, potatoes are distributed through our Mobile Pantries, Permanent School Pantries, Park-It Market, and by our 300+ community partners.
Did you know that $19.20 can help provide 160 pounds of potatoes?
Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County's Virtual Food Drives make it easy to help Orange County families in need and make a difference in our community.
